Poly Pipes & Poly Fittings

Poly PipePoly pipes or irrigation pipe is made of black polyethylene. The wall of this pipe is thin to allow for easy joining and fitting of drippers and sprayers. As a general rule, 13mm pipe can be used for drippers, but 19mm will feed more emitters. Sprayers need 19mm pipe, and pop-ups usually require 19mm or 25mm depending on water pressure.

Sizes Available include...

    Poly Pipe - 13mm x 25 metres

    Poly Pipe - 13mm x 100 metres

    Poly Pipe - 19mm x 25 metre

    Poly Pipe - 19mm x 100 metres

    Poly Pipe - 25mm x 50 metres

Poly Fittings

Poly fittings are a group of fittings available that increase the flexibility of irrigation systems.

  • Lengths of pipe can be joined together with straight joiners
  • Elbows (right angle joiners) can be used to take pipe around corners
  • T-pieces allow offshoots to another pipe
  • End plugs can be used to close off the system
  • Reducing fittings are used to join pipes of different diameters

These examples are just some of the large variety of poly fittings you can choose from. Keep in mind its a good idea to always "clamp" all fittings together to avoid the joins coming undone and wasting water.

The nut & tail fitting is used for connecting your poly pipe to a standard Garden tap. They all come with a washer for a water tight seal.
